The challenge

The challenge for Auvik was to rapidly expand their sales division with top-tier Account Executives who possessed specialized skills and knowledge from competitive industries. To achieve this, the HR Manager and VP of Sales approached hirequity for assistance in sourcing the best remote talent from both Canada and the US.

Our process

To meet the tight deadline, we quickly cast a wide net by contacting 550 qualified candidates and rigorously screening 367 applicants. From there, we narrowed the pool down to the top 50 candidates, utilizing Auvik’s talent management system to efficiently manage the process. Our comprehensive approach included fully managing the intake process and screenings, presenting the strongest candidates with detailed debriefing notes, and facilitating calendar invitations for interviews.

We also provided support with salary and contract negotiation to ensure a smooth and successful hiring process.

To ensure that we found the most suitable candidates for Auvik’s sales division, we delved deep into the industry to gain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.

This involved conducting a thorough competitive analysis and formulating structured interview questions that we presented to the hiring team at Auvik. Our goal was to make the interview process as efficient as possible and we aimed to conduct 3-5 candidate interviews per division each week.
